How do I register for classes?

For your convenience, we have moved everything online!  Register from the comfort of your home, from work, or anywhere.  If you want to pay by credit card, registering online is the easiest option.  And don't worry, we will always accept registrations in person or over the phone.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit, Cash, and Cheque.  Speak to us if you would like to arrange an e-Transfer. or a payment plan.

What should my child wear for class?

Comfortable, tight-fitting clothing.  T-shirt/tank top and shorts, or a gymnastics or dance leotard.  NO crop-tops or tights please.  Barefoot only in the gym (SkyZone socks acceptable).  Long hair must be tied up.  No jewelry to be worn (small stud earrings acceptable).  No buckles, zippers, or buttons.

What should I do if my child is going to miss a class?

We appreciate any advanced notice of the absence.  We do not provide make-up classes for absences, except with a doctor's note.

What class should I register my child for?

Our classes are divided into age groups, regardless of skill level.  The coach will give each child different skills to work on to keep them challenged based on their experience and athleticism.  For first-timers or those looking for a program with lower commitment, register your child for the class that fits their age.  If you think your child is far above average for their age, please schedule a tryout and we will assess if your child would be better challenged in an advanced program, or on a competitive team.

I think my child would be suited to the competitive stream.  What do I need to do?

Step one, is talk to us about booking a tryout!  This is the easiest way for us to assess where your child would be happiest.  Not everyone is suited to the demands of our competitive program, and we recommend you read our competitive handbook and contract (available on the "Girls Competitive" page) before you pursue this avenue.

Are your teachers qualified?

All of our coaches are NCCP certified, and are always supervised by an NCCP Level 2/NCCP Competition 1 coach or higher.

Can we still join your classes after the session has started?

Absolutely!  As long as there is space in the class, we will register until the class is full or until only one month remains.  Program costs will be pro-rated.  Please be advised, we can only issue report cards to students who attend a minimum of 8 weeks.

Can parents watch?

Parents are welcome to watch our recreational classes from our upstairs viewing area.  Parents with athletes in our pre-competitive and competitive programs are asked not to watch more than 30 minutes either at the beginning or end of training, as this distracts our athletes.  Please no viewing from the entryway, as this causes congestion and is a potential hazard for the athletes.

What is your ratio of children to coaches?

Most of our recreational classes have an 8:1 ratio.  Occasionally you may see more than 8 students in a class, and in that case we will place an additional coach or CIT with the class.  Our Tender Hearts and Big Hearts programs have a 6:1 ratio.  Our competitive teams range in size depending on the class dynamic, and may be larger or smaller at the coaches discretion.
